Taylor Watson
Staff Ecologist

Ms. Watson has experience in writing environmental documents including NEPA compliance and Biological Assessments from her work with U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Previous to her work there she worked for the U.S. Forest Service collecting soil data for pre and post harvest inspections. Ms. Watson also dug soil pits and analyzed the vegetation in the area to determine habitat boundaries. While at school at CSU Fresno she worked in the Plant Physiology lab collecting growth and carbon exchange rates on Podophyllum and had her research presented at the Central California Research Symposium in April of 2007.

Ms. Watson also has participated in Kit Fox surveys with members of the Endangered Species Recovery Program, as well as participated in a joint study between the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and California Fish and Game looking at fish populations and water contamination on the San Joaquin River associated with the grasslands project. Ms. Watson is currently pursuing her masters degree in Geology with special emphasis on stream process and restoration methods, she is expected to graduate in the Fall of 2008.
