Mr. Pearson has performed several surveys for special status fish, amphibian, and avian species. His time at the Department of Fish and Game (CDFG) was spent performing surveys to determine the presence or absence of special status aquatic species within CDFG Region 4 (Stanislaus County to Kern County). During his time at California State University Fresno he participated in research relating to aquatic invertebrate species and their variation with elevation. He has participated in extensive research analyzing the affects of pesticides on urban invertebrate species. Recently, he has participated in surveys for special-status raptor species, special status amphibian species, and San Joaquin kit fox. Mr. Pearson has also prepared wildlife sections of CEQA/NEPA documents.
