Neal Kramer, M.S. Mr. Kramer has a masters degree in forest ecology from the University of Idaho where he studied plant succession and the role of buried seed banks on forest sites in the Northern Rocky Mountains. He has experience with flora and plant communities throughout California, in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada and Oregon, and internationally in Honduras, Ecuador and Peru. His experience includes numerous plant inventories and rare plant surveys, vegetation mapping and classification, invasive plant survey and eradication work, wetland delineations, mitigation and construction monitoring, and arborist services. Botanical work on a broad range of habitats has included serpentine sites, vernal pools, delta marshland, deserts and mountains. He has also assisted with a variety of wildlife projects including kit fox, burrowing owl and blunt nose leopard lizard surveys. Neal has 20 years of management experience with Nurserymen’s Exchange in Half Moon Bay, Ca. where he was directly responsible for a full time staff of 130 employees and production operations for 35 acres of greenhouse and field nursery crops. Neal is an experienced photographer with more than 6000 digital images posted on the Calphotos website http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/flora . His plant photos have been used in numerous publications and on websites for both public agencies and private organizations.
